Very convenient but...
This is almost a must but there are a couple of gotchas. Most bothersome is that the inserts in the caps wear out pretty quickly and then the cap leaks when you tip it to measure and pour. Second issue is that the scale on the side wears off so you have to guess at what you pour. Cleaning, pour a little dishwasher powder in and let sit for a couple of hours, shake and rinse and it's sparkling clean.

Tip n Pour
I love the tip n pour. David Jacobs is right on regarding the inserts and the leaking. very aggrivating. Also the fact that the measuring scale wears off is annoying. It would be great if this were available in a glass model. I have been using Filtron for 10 years and is the only way I will drink coffee.

Coffee lover
I have had a Filtron since 1965. My only complaint, ever, has been the difficulty in cleaning the tip n pour. Finally got some small gravel used in crafts, cleaned it well with dish soap and put it in both sections of the pitcher with a bit of dish soap and water. Shake well and all the yucky scum is gone. Works like magic!

When we bought our first Filtron elixir maker in 1966 the Tip-n-pour was not part of the system. We're very happy with this new one and the tip-n-pour is very convenient for measuring individual cups. It would be very nice to be able to get new lids for it. The ones we have now leak, wasting elixir and make a mess every time.

Handy device
We use two of these, and may get a third to take in our motor home. They are great for storing our Filtron coffee, and even better for measuring out my husband's 3 oz and my 2 oz (smaller cup) portions, We just wish there was a gross quantiy scale on the side--I am here getting a picture so I can do one on paper.

Questions and Answers

Q: How do you fill the chamber on the Tip-n-Pour bottle?
Asked by: Thomas Konzel - 4/2/2018
A: First, make sure both caps are on securely. Then tip it over, until the desired amount of concentrate fills the top chamber. Take the cap over the top compartment off and pour.
