FILTRON PRO GROUNDS GAURD: This grounds guard gets placed on the very top of the coffee grounds before the lid and before you fill the filtron with water. This grounds guard keeps the coffee grounds from floating. This insures that the grounds get fully saturated with water. When doing this step it will help to make sure you get the best concentrate from the cold brew

Q: Would this grounds guard work for a vintage Filtron coffee maker? I realize your regular grounds guard is too small for the vintage model. Thanks, Shirley Tyler

A: It is too big, however, we do have customers that cut it down to fit.
