After giving it rave reviews, my daughter gave us Filtron-made coffee over the 2016 holiday season while we visited her family in Austin, TX. We LOVED the cups of coffee, immediately ordered our own Filtron set, and have been happily drinking this wonderfully acid-free coffee ever since. I cannot drink other kinds of coffee without cream. I can drink this "plain" with absolutely no problem.

Great Grandmother
We bought our first Filtron Elixir maker in May, 1966. Our oldest daughter now is using it and we have a new one. We soak our grounds for 16 hours, drip for about 1 hour and refill water to half the original amount and let it also soak for 16 hours. Combining the two soakings makes wonderful elixir, which we refrigerate and use up within 3 weeks. aAn occasional boiling of the filter pads (according to directions) greatly improves the speed of the drippiing).

hot water
after every brew i fill the bucket with hot water from the tap and let it run through, it keeps the filter draining fast brew after brew also never stir the grains while it is brewing, i learned the hard way that the fine sediment will sink and clog the filter of course it will not be a problem the next brew just don't stir the grains while it is brewing

Q: The filtron filters 2 pack will these work on older filtron units ??

A: Yes they will. The size of the filter pads have never changed, so no matter what Filtron home unit you have; the pads will work.

Q: My Filtron, purchased back in the 1970s, uses a filter pad #60-012. As you do not have this number anymore, if I purchase filter pad #60-035, will it still fit my unit?

A: We have 2 sizes. One for our 1lbs home unit (2pack), and one is for our 10 lbs commercial unit (single pack)
