I have used my old filtron for 5 years and need a couple parts. I have dropped mine so want to have one on the shelf, just in case. I love this unit, I love the coffee, its easy and my stomach is thrilled with the less acid.

I bought the original filtron in the mid sixties when my next door neighbor intrduced us to it. Still have the original parts except for the spreader cone and the coffee floater. When my spreader lost it's teeth I made one out of a plastic cup trimmed to the size of the filter and drilled several small holes around the bottom. The coffee floater cracked and I made one out of the plastic lid of the coffee can lid. Both work great. Apparently the spreader cone is not used or available any more. This cone keeps grounds off the filter pad and keeps it a lot cleaner.
